Age 84 of Plymouth. Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rebecca Harriet Hensel. Survived by his wife, Renee; children, Shelly (Steve) Zien, Heidi (Charlie) Johnson and Brian (Dawn) Hork; grandchildren, Miriam (Scott) Edgar, Talya (Stephen) Walter, Elaura Hensel and Ethan Hensel, Mitchell, Lindsey and Alexandra Hork. Alvin was a veteran of the Korean War and worked as an instructor at Dunwoody Institute. Funeral service WEDNESDAY 1PM at UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 70 ½ & Thomas Ave. S., Richfield. Memorials are preferred to the Special Olympics. SHIVA, Sharei Chesed Congregation, 1712 Hopkins Crossroad, Mtka (Wed & Thur 7PM).
